A shutter becomes a door hanger

A friend gave me a few shutters after I admired what she had done with hers. Shutters have so many possibilities. My friend had one on her door as an Easter decoration. I decided that would work for me as well. I painted it white and used a pretty teal burlap to make a cross. I covered a couple of old buttons with material and used them as a center on the cross. I think it turned out awesome!
